qiip has different spaces to allow communication between reporting incidences users and the responsibles of managing them. In addition, there are also internal communication channels that help to solve each task.
On this article, you will find:
- How to chat from the Requests Chat if you report and incidence.
- How to chat from the Tasks Chats if you are the worker who is going to execute the assignment.
- How does the Responsibles and Administrators Chat work.
Requests Chat
Each request you create, will have an associated CHAT where you will be able to exchange documents, images or comments with the administrator of the task. At the same time, this will allow him to know what happens and what it is needed.
By using the app, you can access the Requests section, open one of them (that you have already created before) and use the chat to send messages or attach files.
Once you open the Chat, write a message, upload images or files and click on Send to keep adding more information.
App user role-> Requests-> To chat or attach files, use the Chat.
App user role-> Messages
From the Messages section, you can also access the rest of the conversations list.
On the Messages section, a red counter will indicate if there are any new messages that require your attention. You will also see a yellow dot on the list that highlights which chats contain unread messages.
qiip-bot
Apart from those messages of the persons having a conversation, on each chat you will also see automatic qiip-bot messages about the status of your request. This is how you will keep informed of the development of the process, because you will receive a new message each time an event occurs.
App user role-> qiip-bot messages
Remember that if you prefer it you can also chat from the Web portal by logging in with the same credentials you generally use to access the App.
Web Portal User role-> Requests-> Messages
* In the requests chat, conversations are held between the person who created the request and those in charge of processing it. Any user can create a request from the app and use this chat to communicate with the managers and administrators who are handling your request.
Tasks Chat
If you have a Worker role, you can also create requests for example to report problems or register new orders... If you are the one who created the request, you can use the request chat to talk about it with the people in charge of processing it in the section Requests Chat.
Although you remain being a worker, the Tasks Chat is probably the one you use more frequently.
Each Task has an associated CHAT where it is possible to exchange files, images or comments internally with those who manage and execute the assignments of the requesters.
As a worker, you will only be able to see those tasks assigned to you and use its corresponding chat to communicate with the supervisors (administrators and responsibles). This is also applicable to the rest of the colleagues that have also been included to do the same work.
From the App, you can access Your tasks sections, open one of them and use the chat to send messages or attach files.
Once you open a chat, write a message, upload images or files and click on Send to add new information.
Worker role App-> Your tasks -> To chat or attach files use the chat.
Worker role App-> Messages
You can access the full conversations list from the Messages section, both those corresponding to your tasks and to those requests that you have sent.
On the Messages section, a red counter will indicate if there are any new messages that require your attention. You will also see a yellow dot on the list that highlights which chats contain unread messages.
qiip-bot

Remember that if you prefer it you can also chat from the web portal by logging in with the same credentials you generally use to access the App.
Portal Web worker role-> Tasks-> Messages
* In the tasks chat, conversations are held between processors and workers.
How does the Chat work for Administrator and Reponsibles?
If you have a responsible role or an administrator role, here you have more details about how the messages work when you communicate with the requesting users from the chat of a work order or internally with your employees, from the chat of a task.
If you go to the details of one of the cards in the Work Orders section, you will see that the work orders have a Messages area where administrators and managers can establish chat conversations with the user who reports the incidence.
Tasks also have a Messages space where it is possible to maintain chat conversations. However, in this case, they put the assigned staff in contact with the manager or administrator to communicate internally. This conversation is private and it is not shared with the user who reported the incidence.
